He also covers race and performance horses in the local area, including training yards in Epsom and various rehabilitation yards and liveries.

Advanced Veterinary Practice
Pat qualified from Liverpool Vet School in 2007 with the Equine Clinical Prize. He spent almost 5 years at Rossdale & Partners in Newmarket, where he obtained his Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and developed a passion for TB work, supporting busy breeding operations such as Juddmonte Farms.
Stud & Racing Practice
Pat subsequently set up a specialist practice in New Zealand providing veterinary care to one of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest ownerbreeders, Windsor Park Stud, housing 300 broodmares, 8 stallions and a large training barn. After 5 years in NZ, Pat moved home to the UK and set up a stud & racing practice based at Chasemore Farm. As well as looking after all veterinary aspects of horses on the farm, Pat is also a member of the senior management team that runs the stud.
Science
Pat has published and presented work on many aspects of the thoroughbred. In recognition of his contribution to equine science and research, Pat has been appointed as Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Surrey.
